Hello Students,  Welcome to Global Online.  As you know  Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur is conducting an PhD Eligibility Test for PhD Programme. First you have to fill an Online Application Form from the university website. Last date for the Application Form to be submitted online only is 25.04.2022. Ph.D Eligibility Test shall be held on 02/05/2022 . Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme must have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.  Entrance test will have two sections: Paper I and Paper II. Part-I will be compulsory and common to all candidates. The question paper set will comprise of two sections with a total of 100 Questions of 4 marks each (maximum 400 marks) and shall consist of 50% of research methodology and 50% shall be subject specific.  The paper will be of 2 hours duration. There shall be negative marking. On each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. Four marks would be granted for correct answers and no marks would be awarded/deducted for unattempted questions. Paper 1 will be based on 50 Questions On Research Methodology & Paper 2 contains 50 Questions on subject specific.  Paper I syllabus: Basic concept of research problem, Review of literatures, Methods of research , Sampling of data ,Introduction and Objectives of Research, Types of Research, Research Process, Preparing Research project, Source of Data collection, Analysis of Data, Hypothesis Testing, Generalization and Interpretation, Thesis Writing, Reference, Citing, Footnoting, Bibliography, Finalizing the thesis and its Presentation To Qualify the exam you must score at least 50% marks in your PhD Entrance Exam.
